Yunquera is the gateway to one of Spain’s most stunning natural landscapes. Recently named a National Park, the area is famous for its Pinsapo (Spanish Fir) forests—some of the oldest in the world.
For Hikers: Try the trail to Puerto Saucillo. It offers panoramic views that stretch all the way to the Mediterranean and, on clear days, the coast of Africa.
For Cyclists: The winding mountain roads around Yunquera are a dream for road cyclists and mountain bikers looking for a challenge.

2. Authentic Gastronomy
Forget tourist traps; Yunquera is about "Km 0" food.
Must Try: Sample the local goat cheese, mountain honey, and the famous Yunquera avocados.
Dining Out: Visit the local ventas (inns) for a traditional "Plato de los Montes." Many of our guests at Casablanca Stef enjoy buying fresh local produce at the village market to cook on the villa’s outdoor BBQ.

3. Day Trips to Ronda and Beyond
One of the best reasons to choose a villa rental near Ronda is the proximity to history.
Ronda (30 mins): See the iconic Puente Nuevo bridge and the oldest bullring in Spain.
El Caminito del Rey: This world-famous walkway is within driving distance and offers a thrilling experience through the Gaitanes Gorge.
